For this week, we had to make thumbnails for a poster for a play. From the list of plays, I chose Peter Pan because I was the most familiar with it, and I had a clear concept in my head for it. If I revisited this project I would try and take more aspects of the peter pan play and condense them into thumbnails (such as the Lost Boys, or more posters focused on Tinkerbell, etc).

The thumbnail sketches i did, using coloured pencil and watercolour. I experimented with the focus of the poster (going between focusing on the conflict between peter pan and captain hook to focusing on the aspect of peter and the children flying, to focusing on Neverland, etc). Using watercolours really helped me sell the vibe i was going for, a lot more than just coloured pencils did.
